and here it is, finally, completed. this has been my work for the last couple of weeks. even though it is a drawing, it took me more time to do it cause i paid extreme attention to proportions and the overall detailing. i adore the concept of the dominant, hereditarily rich mother who gives that genetic 'nobility' to her infants. as you can notice, one of the children is doing a taboo dance, kind of gipsy like but a bit more.. brutal, heh. full view is preferable.

wow, you put a lot of effort into this and it REALLY shows! i can't get over how beautifully you rendered the proportions and positions of the figures....you have elongated and distorted them in such a way that they look believable, even the lighting looks incredible....

wonderful, you always make me so jealous :yum: hehehehe

What an amazing perception of light/shadow. And how the mother is dressed in black contrasts to her yet innocent children. But one day they'll be like her too. Nice :)

Ooh, this is a very dramatic piece indeed. I just love the figure work- it's very...dynamic or something.
A very haunting piece, I just adore the concept behind it too.
